Waterford County Council Library Service provides an efficient and modern range of services to the residents of County Waterford and all those interested in Waterford.

Members can avail of a range of services:

  • Use off all branches in the county.
  • Access to all all lending collections
    (fiction and non-fiction books, film, music, language courses) in the County.
  • Internet access (Wi-Fi where available).
  • Premium eReference service.
  • Heritage resources online (Irish Tmes Digital Archive, Historic Maps).
  • Account maintenance online, including loan renewals and reservation service. Start today by contacting any branch library and requesting a PIN number. Your ID number is on the reverse of your membership card.

In addition, branches host extensive programmes which vary from branch to branch and include such events as Book Launches, Exhibitions, Storytelling, Author Visits and Book Promotions.
