Irish Times Digital Archive
Archive Search contains both Digital and Text Archives. The Digital archive contains exact reproductions of all articles published by the Irish Times from 1859 onwards, while the Text archive contains material published on ireland.com from 1996 onwards. Useful for:

1911 Census Online
The 1911 Census, in the custody of the National Archives of Ireland, is now available online. All thirty-two counties are included. Information in contained on several forms, including:
- A form: This is the basic household return, filled in and signed by the head of the household. There is one for each household in the country.
- B1 form: House and Building Return
- B2 form: Return of Out-Offices and Farm-Steadings
- N form: The Enumerator's abstract
- Institutional and shipping forms
Historic Mapping Series
You can access the comprehensive archive of Historical Maps from the period of 1837-1913. This is an invaluable service for researchers, genealogists, local historians and the general public.with an excellent search facility which allows searching under locality or townland, and also a panning facility. The zoom facility allows a very detailed picture of a specific area. Printing is available at €1.00 a sheet. This is an invaluable resource for:

Griffith's Valuation Online
The primary genealogical source for 19th century Ireland. Features include:
- Name, county and/or placename searching
- Database details, original valuation forms and maps
JSTOR Ireland Collection
Library users now have access to a comprehensive collection of Irish scholarly journals online. The Ireland Collection, comprising
more that 90 journals, hosts many articles of Waterford interest covering many disciplines.
