Using the Grave Memorial Database
Burial records for burial grounds in County Waterford are, in many cases, unavailable. Extant burial registers can, however, be located with the parish register/secretary but can only be checked with permission of the parish priest. This searchable database contains headstone information from some burial grounds that have been surveyed.
These records are invaluable as a source of genealogical and sociological data as they indicate the age and year of death of the interred. Relationship to other family members may also be ascertained. Records are composed of the following elements:
- Name of deceased
- Note (if applicable)
- Obituary (if applicable)
